John Deere 8120 ECU Tuned – Alt Tune. The John Deere 8120 row crop tractor with its 8.1 litre engine and tier 2 emissions standard put out 200 HP stock. Post tune we increase the 8120 to 255 HP. Torque is also increased by 16% and fuel economy improves.
Transmission wise they run a full power shift transmission with single shift lever with a display on cab corner post. The tractor begins in 7 (forward) and 2 (reverse) on start up. Clutch pedal may be used to pre-select a gear by holding the clutch and pressing lever until desired gear is reached. Automatic PowerShift (APS) allows automated shifting to match load.
