The engine is a 2.5L direct injection common rail turbo diesel with a engine code of  YD25DDTi.  Behind the engine is either a manual or automatic transmission. What can Alt Tune achieve with the Nissan Navara D40?

Our customers Navara had a factory power output of 169 HP and 403 NM of torque. As a result of our ECU tune we increased this to 200 HP and 468 NM from our ECU tune alone.

The tune is performed via the OBD diagnostic port fitted by Nissan. Yet reading the ECU is a non invasive procedure, which results in the ECU’s software being extracted so we can modify it to increase power, torque and improve fuel consumption.

Alt Tune have the ability to remove the EGR (exhaust gas re circulation) functions from the ECU. By doing this it allows the valve to be blanked or the entire EGR system to be removed from the vehicle.

Common EGR related codes we can fix are below.

P0400 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction.
P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected.
P0402 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Excessive Detected.
P0403 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Malfunction.
P0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performance.
P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low.
P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High.
P0407 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit Low.
P0408 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High.
P0409 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor “A” Circuit.
